DRoP-ToP is a STREP-type research project funded by the European Commission under the “Life Sciences, Genomics and Biotechnology for Health” priority of the Sixth Framework Programme.

The project pursues two main goals:

• Scientific goal: To identify predictive biomarkers for the progression and recurrence of bladder cancer.
• Technological goal: To develop a microarray for the identification of said predictive biomarkers.
  

In order to achieve the above goals, the DRoP-ToP consortium relies on the expertise of scientists and technology developpers from eight institutions (universities, research centers, hospitals and biotechnology companies) across Europe.
